Amelia (Spectrum) at the IATA headquarters
Since last Wednesday my “We are Stardust” series – featuring Amelia Earhart – is hanging at the IATA (International Air Transport Association) head quarter’s employee lounge. I got the gig through ArtAnywhere, a company which organizes what they call PopUp Galleries. They place temporary art exhibits into corporations, and I’ve been keeping an eye on their calls for entries for a while. When the IATA call came up, I figured that my Amelia Earhart series would be a great match, and submitted the “Stardust” series. It was accepted, and now my work is hanging on the 11th floor of the Tour de la Bourse (the old Montreal Stock Exchange) in the Quartier International. The show is not open to the general public, so here are a few shots I took just after the installation.
