This is an open call unlike any I’ve ever seen: Maison Kasini are asking artists to bring an example of their work to the gallery on Saturday, June 5, 2010 – all art will be accepted. Here is their call:
Hey Montreal, Show Us What You Got!
June 5th to June 19th
Reception: Saturday, June 12th, 3-5PM
“Hey Montreal, Show Us What You Got” is an opportunity for the public to be exposed to unfettered talent and it is an opportunity for artists to show and introduce their work.
Here’s how it works: Show up at 11AM on Saturday, June 5th at Galerie Maison Kasini with one work of art that is ready to hang and less than 36″x36″ and we will include it in an exhibition. Here’s the catch: Space is limited and work will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis until the walls are filled. All work must be for sale.

I think this is a really interesting exhibit because the work is not selected.I would like to be part of it .Unfortunately ,I just read the e-mail on Saturday ,june 5th at 6pm,a little too late to submit.Is it possible to submit a painting on Monday orsome time next week?Hoda Ackad Please let me know,thanks
Hoda, you should get in touch directly with Maison Kasini at info@maisonkasini.com. You missed the deadline, but Ric Kadour (who runs Maison Kasini) is a great guy and it’ll be a good idea to say Hi in any case. ~Bettina
